Sorry again for the multiple appearances of my first entry, I had a computer freeze and clicked on submit a few times to see if it would go through. Apparently they all went through. But then I did submit a second forecast a bit later on so please ignore all those duplicate entries. Thanks. I notice we're a bit short on entries, wonder if that's the time change or some people might be expecting a deadline tomorrow? Your call of course but I would be cool with a restart if so. -- Roger Smith
no worries. enter as often as you like before the deadline. the entries go into a database so dupes are easy to manage. only the last one counts as they say :)
one forecaster was caught unawares with the time change. everyone gets a 'get out of jail card free' for a late entry as long as it's not hours late.
storm #4 deadline took into account the prognosis for accumulating snows over BGM and ALB (and possibly MDT and ABE earlier in the day) between 00 and 06z on the 14th. an later deadline would have missed a fair amount of the expected heavier snowfalls over southern NY ...
